This is a chateau hotel set in 17 acres of of beautiful gardens and wooded parkland with vines growing in front of the hotel. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and the cleanliness is second to none. When we were at the hotel, dinner was sered "en-terrasse" every evening and the srvice was perfect. The rooms are tastefully decorated, air-conditioned with all amenities. The slight downfall is the lack of a restaurant, but that is overcome if you visit Restaurant Richard et Christopher Coutanceau on the seafront, Plage de la Concurrence, it's about a 20 minute walk through Parc Charruyer or a 5 minute drive. We were blown away by the cuisine and the service, absolutely unbelievable. You must try it, but make sure you book before hand!!! |
