| Maine-et-Loire (49) RN249/RD160 -CHOLET Cholet/Bressuire Road. Construction of a dual-carriageway. Traffic flows will be disrupted as work progresses. Completion September 2013  | Loire-Atlantique (44) A83 - BIGNON Nantes/Niort road. Improvement work the the toolbooths at Bignon. Traffic flows are reduced due to the number of tollbooths in operation is decreased, also reduced speed limits apply on the approach to the area. At present any vehicle over 2.8 metres wide cannot pass through the tollbooths until 17th February 2012 in the Niort/Nintes direction and must follow the diversion route. Completion April 2012 RN165/444 – Between SAUTRON & COUERON On RN165 in the Nantes/Vannes direction: lane and hard shoulder closures to the right of the working area. Speed limits have been lowered and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited from overtaking. Completion October 2012. On RN444 lanes are closed as is the hard shoulder. Speed limits have been lowered and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited from overtaking a neutralized way, limit of lowered speed, ban of passing and suppression of the band of stop of urgency. |

Certain phases of the work will require diversions to be set up on the RD1 and A11 as well as closure of the hard shoulder on the RD1. This work takes place at weekends. Charente (16) RN10 between Barbezieux and Jurignac : Construction of dual-carriageway between Pétignac & Barbezieux. • The section between "La Billette" and the junction north of Barbezieux is partially open to traffic • The exit sliproad at the "Pont à Brac" junction (RN10/RD68) is closed in the Bordeaux/Angoulême direction until May 2012. RN10 between Mansle & Tourriers: Construction of new carriageways on the RN10 Junction with the RD116 is closed until July 2012. Diversions in place. | Deux-Sèvres (79) RN11 Epannes: Sewerage works. Gironde (33) Major roadworks on the RN10/A63 ( Gironde-Landes): Estimated completion April 2014 The RN10 is being upgraded to three lanes in each direction and to motorway standards and progressive upgrade of the A63 to three lanes in both directions between Salles (33) and St Geours-de-Maremne (40). Various restrictions (reduced carriageway widths, lane closures, diversions, speed limits .....) will be in place until the completion of the work in April 2014: The work will be in two distinct phases. • The first phase of the installation will concern: • The installation of usual motorway furniture (Central reservation barriers, hard shoulder refuges, road signs, bridges, fences etc) • The construction of tollbooths • The construction of a three lane carriageway in both directions (15 kms each) • The construction of a new section of motorway to the east of Labouheyre • The construction of accesses for emergency vehicles • The upgrading and enlarging of all service and rest areas along the route • Repair and (or) upgrade emergency telephones along hard shoulders. • Construction of junctions, sliproads etc • Construction of over and underpasses for wildlife • Installation of road markings on way and medians Completion of this phase is estimated to be Summer 2013 At Castets – construction of tollbooths in the Bordeaux direction, during which time two lanes will be closed and replaced by a 1.5 km temporary diversion that bypasses the work-site until June 2013. Until 31/01/12. Installation of hard shoulder: - between junctions 12 (Castets) and 11 (Magescq 40): Right hand lane closed in both directions. - between junctions 13 (Souquet) and 12 (Castets 40): Right hand lane closed in a north to south direction. Until 05/03/12. Installation of hard shoulder: - between junctions 14 (Onesse & Laharie) and 13 (Souquet 40): Lane closures. - to maintain traffic flows the width of the nearside lane will be reduced to 3.20 metres and the offside lane to 2.80 metres. Note: Heavy vehicles are FORBIDDEN to use the outside lane. Until 15/04/12. Upgrades and improvements to the hard shoulder for 6 kms: - between junctions 18 (Saugnacq & Muret) and 17 (Liposthey 40): Right hand lane closed in both directions. Until 05/03/12. Installation of hard shoulder: - between junctions 14 (Onesse & Laharie) and 15 (Cap de Pin 40): Lane closures in both directions. - to maintain traffic flows the width of the nearside lane will be reduced to 3.20 metres and the offside lane to 2.80 metres. Note: Heavy vehicles are FORBIDDEN to use the outside lane. Until 27/04/12. Upgrades and improvements to the hard shoulder for 6 kms in south-north direction - Near Castets (Junction 12) for 5,5 km. Lane closures - to maintain traffic flows the width of the nearside lane will be reduced to 3.20 metres and the offside lane to 2.80 metres. Note: Heavy vehicles are FORBIDDEN to use the outside lane. - Closure of the sliproad to the expressway RD42 in a south – north direction Until 16/05/12. Upgrades and improvements to the hard shoulder for 6 kms in north-south direction - Near Castets (Junction 12) for 5,5 km. Lane closures - to maintain traffic flows the width of the nearside lane will be reduced to 3.20 metres and the offside lane to 2.80 metres. Alternate traffic flows until 31st May. |
